Individual learner license
Each activated purchase grants one named learner an individual-use, non-transferable license. The account, seat, entitlement, completed work, and credential path may not be reassigned, resold, gifted after activation, or handed to another person. A business may sponsor the named learner and remain the contracting or billing party; that arrangement does not make the seat transferable.
There is no device-count limit. Travel or ordinary device changes are permitted. Privacy-respecting signals may route obvious simultaneous use to graduated human review, but a heuristic does not automatically terminate an account. Use the device change or travel support path if a legitimate change needs review.
Adult self-service market
The self-service product is for adults who are at least 18 or the age of legal majority and can enter the agreement. It is not directed to children and is not knowingly marketed or sold as child-directed learning.
